Tested sky other app, now TV.
It works.
As they are the same streams, off the same servers, tells me it's the sky go app again.

Give it a few weeks for sky to recognise the phone.
Sky Go doesnt work on all handsets.
My SkyGo also force closes.
And I have the same issues with HERE WeGo - force close.
I get the sound but just black screen.
I'm getting rid of phone and exchanging it for a S8 as issue still not resolved. Nobody seems to know why
I think @billbond4 may have said why.
Many apps relying on copywrite protected content subscriptions only allow certain devices full access (rooted devices can have free to view software)
Sky will probably need to fully allow the device and set streaming quality limits, that's all.
Don't know what u mean, how do I solve it then? Do I have to speak to sky? I had no problem like this on iPhone 6
@Symo3 I'm very sorry to hear that. As has been pointed out it seems like the app isn't compatible with the Xperia XZ Premium.
My recommendation would be to contact the app's developer and ask about compatibility with the Xperia XZ Premium. Contact information can usually be found at the bottom of the app's page in Google Play. I hope that this is of some help to you.
Thanks but I find that hard to believe as it's very ridiculous for a a company such as Sony to be so far behind in technology. How can they bring out a phone that costs so much with all this technology that does not support such apps as sky go. Unbelievable can't wait to get rid of this phone now then and go with the phone I should have chosen in the first place. This is first time I've gone with Sony in a good few many years, I shan't be making this mistake again!!!!!! Very angry 😡 just glad Vodafone are letting me exchange it to a Samsung S8.
