I finally gave in and updated the phone because the shutdowns and restarts were getting ridiculous but now cant find / or access memory card no matter how many times i restart my phone or take the card out however the card itself is fine and works as i can put it directly in laptop and access my stuff on there.
Any advice plz as am finding all these updates ridiculous and seem to have more problems with my phone with each new update i cant wait for my contract upgrade an may just buy a new phone at this rate.

no problem, at least you have access to your SD card through your phone, which was the initial issue
update again but this time remove the SD card
aren't you required to have an sd card in to do the update in the first place?
not at all, forget about PCC use SEUS instead
Update Service (SEUS)

it seems to be a bug, among many, with 2.3.3 but some users managed to solved this updating the phone w/o SD and SIM cards; it doesn't hurt to try
