SD Missing after update...

I finally gave in and updated the phone because the shutdowns and restarts were getting ridiculous but now cant find / or access memory card no matter how many times i restart my phone or take the card out however the card itself is fine and works as i can put it directly in laptop and access my stuff on there.

Any advice plz as am finding all these updates ridiculous and seem to have more problems with my phone with each new update i cant wait for my contract upgrade an may just buy a new phone at this rate.

i tried it and ended up with some ilivid aplication but no files

what do i use to open the file sice i have down loaded a few of these already but the files are not recognisable to open?

you need to download 1) flashtool and 2) the ftf file which you just did, then

follow the step by step guide here

I really dont seem to be getting any further and i have wasted all day on this and wish i never updated the phone for all this hassle which has put me in a bad mood.

I have the flash tool it even opens however i cant do anything with it i have so far accumulated

as it is the flash tool does not show the ftf files so I cant open them with it as even though i go to the folder where the files are they dont show up, directions are well and simple if there are directions to follow...

there are no directions on that page just links i have downloaded repeatedly with nothing usable

thats odd, right click on the ftf file, click on properties, is it a .rar file? if it is then use

winzip

no rar files they are all ftf files and have no way of opening them
