All photos my wife or myself take in low light levels has a white blurr that appears on the right side after the camera flashes, the image is without this problem until it is taken. Is this a problem with the software or a hardware flaw with the camera/flash proximity to each other and the chrome rim around the lens.this is on both our z1 phones my wife has a white one and I a black one. The red inference on the left side is not common just bad lighting. When I say the right side it would be on the bottom side for portrait photos

just out of curiousity...

I have a white z1, and get this flash thingy sometimes in extremely low light.

a friend with a black one... doesn't.

so... to those who get this flash intrusion... what color is your device ? (could effect the light reflection)

I have both, well my wife has the white one and I the black one and I was taking pics on both and figured out my finger was extending away from the edge of the lens and reflecting the flash back on the lens. I have changed the way I hold it now and it's fine, albeit a bit uncomfortable bit it works

well, I think we ALL now, that a phone camera is not as good as a real camera. BUT if sony is advertising with the best and clearest 20,7 MP cam.. and then it's not even better than the camera of the samsung galaxy s2.. well Sorry but it's disappointing and disgusting!!!I can not discribe how much enraged Iam!!!!! I HATE SONY.. really! Never ever again!! (I also have problems with the playsation, but it's another topic ;)) If someone has a solution please tell it, otherwise I will bring it back next week... :///

nothing can help us from ur 1st page its not d light its a software issue there is lot of noise and colour are washed out from pic specially in low light or in indoor photo..plzzzzzzzzzz fix it as soon as possible

sony always hv this software issue with tr phone...plzzzzzzzzzzzzz we spend lot of money for this or wt??????????????????

Buenas a todos,llevo una semana con mi z1,tengo el mismo problema que todos,las fotos no son tan buenas y salen fotos con un borde blanco,las fotos con oscuridad son horrorosas,e tenido un nokia n 8 y son mucho mejor que las de este movil,espero que sony pueda llegar a hacer algo para que este problema desaparezca.

20 megapixellik kandırmacasına inandım ve z1 aldım. arkadaşımda bulunan 13 megapixellik galaxy note 3 ile kıyasladığımızda aynı anda çektiğimiz fotoğraf kalitesinin note 3 otomatik çekim de daha iyi olduğu bariz gözüküyor. z1 hem otomatik(8megapixel) hem elle(20megapixel) daha kötü olduğu sonucu beni utandırıyor. z1 kameramı diğer telefonlardan ve özellikle note 3 den daha iyi hale getirecek bir yazılım talep ediyorum. yazılım yazılım yazılım istiyorum.....
