Tempered glass and screen heat

Hello all,
I am a new happy owner of the z2. As usual my first thoughts are protection accessories. I was always putting a tempered glass on previous phones (s5,g2,nexus5) for better protection and feel.

My question is, does tempered glass stress the screen more when its hot, by not letting heat get out? In other words, should i worry about tempered glass keeping the screen hotter (which might result in cracking, just saying based on what i ve read here and there)? Many say that this phone is overheating so i am a bit worried. I use cheap tempered glass priced at about 10 euros, if it matters.

I don't think it will affect the temperature of your phone, I use one on my Z3D and Z2, both of them are not overheating. Also to mention, I dropped my Z2 a very nasty drop, I observed a few cracks on the screen, but I was very happy to discover that the carcks were on the tempered glass protector only

It's my wife's phone, she has it for over a year now. It's the purple edition and it's an awesome phone.
