Speaker not working after put in water in Z

The speaker of my phone does not working properly after put in water.

sound can not come out due to water inside the speaker area..

it does not drain?

anybody faced this problem?

what to do?

That's normal, you have to wait for the speaker to dry out

I have had the xperia z2 for best part of a year now I got it wet when I first got it around 10 or 11 months ago and its never worked the same since the speakers drastically lost volume which has never got better and with the over heating issues I have been really put off these phones I'm now left with the dilemma of buy a new phone or pay out for new speakers which I have been quoted quite a high price to be done
