Bug ? Cast vs Bluetooth Icon

A minor UI issue that I've noticed at times while connected to a headset device listening to music I will see the bluetooth icon when adjusting volume, yet at other times while connected to the same device I will see the cast icon.  Then at other times I will see both icons flashing over each other while I adjust the volume. This happens at random times even minutes apart. I'm normally using the music app or spotify.

Is there a difference with the functionality of BT streaming vs casting ?

The diference between Bluetooth and Casting is that Bluetooth uses a Bluetooth connection, of course, whereas Casting does so over WiFi.

I'm not sure what type of headset device you're using. Do you know if it supports casting?

Ok. Turns out this is related to the a beta app that I was using. Issue solved.
