XZ Premium When watching a movie, the white line suddenly flashes at the bottom left of the screen

When watching movies, the occasional screen at the bottom of the screen will suddenly flash, which is a software problem? (Set the ultra-realistic display mode, image enhancement)

Can this be fixed? Or should the phone be returned to sony for repair?

I guess this is a hardware problem as not every unit happens and screen record clips

would not flash the white lines. Before they sort out the root cause better replace the unit.

I'm having the save issue. I was just watching a video on you tube and the white lines started appearing on the lower left of the screen.

The issue is not solved yet, take it back to your phone dealer. It's the best alternative at the moment.

does the whilte line appear in all video apps? youtube. video app etc?

try to run xperia diagnostics settings>about phone

try to boot to safe mode

or perform software repair using Xperia Companion

if the problem still persists. it might be hardware problem. so it is best to send your device for repair at your Local support

1. Yes, I have posted some movies and pics in this forum.
2. As showing my videos, under full screan watching, it is very offen.
3. Yes, I had tried build in app with local videos, Berliner Philharmoniker streaming app, and also youtube. They all have same problem. I have returned my phone, and haven't got a new one, so that I can't test your video.
4. I didn't use Netflix, but streaming on Berliner Philharmoniker app has same issue.
5. Yes, I had tried build in app with build in local video.

6. The white line is showed on same place.
7. I have already returned my phone.

For now I don't seem to have that issue with my XZP (Black, received 5 days ago, Germany).

Where do I find that Sony Promo video on YouTube in previous post #to double check...

Open the build-in Movies app and one of the select Movies-folder. -In there you'll find the Sony promo's as well as SpiderMan Homecoming trailer.

Btw, no issues with white line on my XZP, checked with the promo's and Spiderman trailer.
