Reaccuring system incidents (crashs / restart)

I have my XZP for a bit over 3 weeks now - on thing I see is that it relativly often happens to lock out and restart when either unlocking or pressing the camera button to launch the camera. 

(all instances I can recall I pressed either on of thoes buttons) 

I had 8 system incidents in the last 10 days - 4 of them directly on the day after I installed the June security patch. (June 21th)  

(which I think deleted the record of the occasions previously but after getting it 4 times in a row I´m a bit more aware of the issue now) 

On the XZ running the same firmeware it usually ran for at last 2 weeks without incident on the XZP my record so far is 3 days. 

I activated advanced logging several times - does anybody else observed similar behavior?

It really feels like this happens if you lock and unlock too fast / switch from apps to the camera via shutter button - its not an extrem problem since the phone is back up very fast. 

Is there anything besides advanced logging I can provide to help analysing this issue?

Oh my god. I finally see someone with my problem.

Most of the time my camera app crashed and the phone freezes when I want to take some photos.

I know it's not convenient to do, but have you tried performing a software repair through Xperia Companion on PC?

Does this happen quite regularly? For me it was about every 2-3 days for the first 3 weeks - hasn't happen since I reported it through.

For me my xzp crash very often. Every app like facebook, chrome, line, even keyboard input also crash. It crash every one minute when I use it.

To anyone with constant crashing issues, I would always advise you:

Perform a backup using Xperia Companion

Perform a software repair using Xperia Companion or Bridge for Mac

If those fail to fix constant reboots or crashes..

Contact your Local support

Mine does NOT and shouldn't do this, I would not be happy if it did, so please follow the advice and get the device working as it should.

I'm also suffering the same problem. I just need to wake it up and it stutters/lags and gets so bad that it restarts itself, sometimes losing my wall paper or a widget from the screen on restart as a bonus!

It has done this since the second day I've owned it and happens almost everyday. I've performed a software repair, reset, used the phone in its out of the box setup (only setting up my google account) without success.

It's just on a month old now and is going back to the retailers returns technician (ironically called Boomerang) for its 3rd time with the technicians only doing what we could do ourselves and saying no fault found/fixed with reset. Has now been escalated to a senior technician?

If a solution is eventually found then will repost...

So after 3 trips to Boomerang they've 'Given me the benifit of the doubt' (nice of them) and authorised a brand new replacement. Its problem was very similair to my GF's tablet which after 5 trips to the Samsung sevice centre, they discovered a problem on the main board. Probably the same thing...
