Hi @Debz151180, sorry to hear this. Slightly_frowning_Face

Are you using a normal wired headset, or are you using a Bluetooth headset?

Have you only experienced this happening while listen to music or playing a video or can it also happen during a call?

It's both through the phone speakers itself and headphones (wired and bluetooth), it started after the nougat update, I don't think phone conversations are affected as I deffinately notice it when playing music on the phone and through apps like Spotify and also YouTube videos are the same too. Thanks for replying btw x

That is strange. Thinking_Face Could you reboot your device into safe mode and see if it still happens for pre-installed apps such as YouTube?

Hi, after much testing in safe mode and normal mode I've discovered that it prob isn't to do with the nougat update. In safe mode I tested YouTube, Spotify, play music and the music player on the phone, they all seem to work fine with no jumps or skiping, so when I did the same in normal mode they all didn't work, and all jumped and skipped, though with YouTube I found that it jumped and skipped but only if my phone was in portrait, when I turned it to landscape it worked fine, which is strange, but that was only with YouTube, Spotify and the rest didn't work when in portrait and landscape. So I presume that means that it must be an app interfering, but how would I find which app that was? X

I have the same problem. And i'm very angry about that.
My hands-free kit in the car does not work anymore. This problem should be repaired as soon as possible. Maybe with a new Update or something.

No matter what I use over Bluetooth
whether speakers or in the car, it does not work anymore. I'm in despair. Have also tried as the other user but it doesn't work. I need help *cry*

Hi @Nasch_byr have you tried doing it in safe mode? if it works in safe mode then it's gotta be something that's been downloaded that's interfering, if it is the same problem as mine that is x

@Debz151180 Yes that indicates that it is caused by a downloaded third party app. I'm afraid it's very hard to find which one but if you have installed any new apps around the same time that you began to experience this I'd recommend that you start by uninstalling those.

@Nasch_byr Sorry to hear this. In your case, do you get no audio at all when you connect to a Bluetooth device? Or do you also experience that the audio skips?

Hi Christofer , thanks for all the help, I've recently discovered that it was an app called Muviz- a nav bar audio visualizer- it was making all music skip and jump but as soon as I turned it off everything worked fine, once again thanks for the help x
