Why there is no manual for my VGF-AP1L

I bought VGF-AP1L yesterday, and I was very disappointed to find out that there is no detailed manual included in the package, or the installation Cd.

Why there are no manuals any more ?

You should find an entry under "All Programs" and you may have a little icon next to the start button "Manual".

Failing that you can download hardware and software manuals from Vaio-Link.

Ps I still believe the manual supposed to be printed and in the box.

Well I got printed manuals with my laptops, but plenty of manufacturers don't to strip down their costs. Maybe Sony have changed their policy who knows. You could always open an eSupport case and ask them if it's missing, and if it is please could you have a replacement. It would be free.

It's a good idea to print the PDFs for future refrence.
