i was looking for some help with my vaio - the sound is very choppy sometimes, and tends to skip when playing videos/dvds and suchlike. especially when the laptop is busy with another job, or something like that - the sound gets stretched, or falls behind the video.
as i said, it's a pcg-791m, that's roughly 2 years old. i think i've run out of the warranty - anyway you can find out how long your warranty was without the original paperwork? - so want to see if i can solve this myself before sending it away for repair!
i'd be grateful for any help anyone can give me! another thing, does anyone know of any common problems for my model, or where you can find information like that? my friend had the exact same model, and had issues with her mother board.
