new upgrades for vaio desktop pcv-rs604

Hi Everyone.I have pcv-rs604.it appears sony released new updates Vaio media 4.1 and dvgate plus version 1.3.01.
please can any one tell me whether it is essential i install thes upgrades.i am asking this only because my computer is working perfect and i don't want to encounter any unnecessary problems.
i would appreciate any advice.

I have tryed VAIO media 4.1, it work's fine. But the Layout is too slow in my eyes. I don't use this software.
