Look at notebook thread, I hope by typing this a Sony employee would contact me, I thought this site was used and lead by Sony engineers. 10 crashes a evening I find ahwful
This site is not necessarily viewed, or read by Sony engineers, just Vaio users. You need to persevere with Sony support. I realise that this comment is not necessarily helpful, but it is a fact

Your prerogative. We are only Vaio users here, trying to help one another, not a substitute for Sony support.
