BUILt-IN WWAN ON VAIO S Series

I recently bought a Sony Viao S Series with Built-In WWAN.  How do I get this to work.  I thought you just put a 3G simcard and it should work but I have tried this and it doesn't work.  I am not very technical.  Please Help

Have you followed the instructions on Page 69 to Page 72 in your User Guide?

I have followed the instructions and its asking for a Pin.  Where do I get the Pin from?

If you have obtained a DATA SIM - the sort you get inside a 3G wireless broadband USB stick - the network provider will supply you with a passcode to access the 3G Data Network.

You cannot use a normal 3G phone SIM.
