New house: trying to connect TV to wall ariel socket. KDL-32W705C
Connecting lead is one side male and one side female. However, both wall and TV ariel input are female.
Is there an extra connection piece which may have been lost while moving house? Can I buy something to make either wall or TV into a male? Other? Thanks

Hi @MichelleMM100 I wouldn’t mess about with a female to male adapter (also available) but simply buy the appropriate cable. Something like:

I agree with you, but the thing that @MichelleMM100 “shouldn’t buy” would need to be a male to male adaptor 😛
The normal connection for wall to TV is with a male to male cable, though there are uses for male to female cables, and Curry’s sell male to male cables with a female to female adaptor in the bag. Saves them have to stock two sorts of cables and/or deal with returns when customers buy the wrong sort 🙂
