I have a Samsung 4K QE50Q60B TV with Dolby Atmos but when I try to turn on Dolby Atmos in the TV settings it is greyed out. I contacted Samsung and they told me the Soundbar has to support it. The Soundbar I have is the Sony HT-SF150, so does this Soundbar support Dolby Atmos? If so how do I make the Soundbar Dolby compliant to work with the Samsung TV mentioned.
Hi @penallylad
I’m afraid your Sony HT-SF150 does not support Dolby Atmos. Looking at the specs it only has 2 channels. For minimum Dolby Atmos you need 7 channels plus a subwoofer decoding.
The cheapest Sony sound bar that supports Dolby Atmos decoding is HT-X8500
