Stopped Email app after update to Android 4.1.2 in xperia go

Hi, just upgraded my xperia go to Android 4.1.2. Seems ok so far except that everything is much slower and the settings cannot be accessed via the menu key. But what really bothers is that some apps work strange resp. do not work at all like E-mail. When I start it, it only returns "unfortunately email has been terminated". No reason, no error, nothing. I cannot deinstall it neither update it. What to do?

1. browse to apps, section "all", choose "E-mail", delete all settings and data as well as cache.
2. perfom email setup once again for your account(s)
3. should work again

I have an Xperia E, which is always complaining about Phone Memory even though I have about 5gb of internal and 20 gb of sd card, it was tolerable.  I have now updated my phone with the latest update, and nothing works....it just comes up with "Unfortunately (insert apps name here) has stopped"  and gives you the option of "OK" or "REPORT".  If you report, it just throws you out and tells you it can't send the report......

Bit of a mess really!!!!
