Z5 compact - no vibration when receiving text though phone is set to vibrate

I'm assuming once we set the phone to vibrate then it'll vibrate for incoming text?? If not, is there a way to make it vibrate?? TIA

Vibration mode should make the device vibrate for any incoming text message.

Perhaps you have set it on DND and then it won't vibrate unless you add exceptions.

Nope, I just test it. I have 2 Z5 compact, the other one is for my wife. My wife's vibrate when receiving text not mine. Unless anyone here can tell me the reason (and the solution) for this issue, I believe I'm receiving a faulty product then. If so, I need to send it for repair??

@ab3605 Can you try to boot in safe mode first and see if it vibrates?

I think you have disabled the vibration from messages settings. Go to messages, tap on 3 dots then go to settings. There you should enable notification vibration.
