Vibration using SmartConnect and Xperia Z Dock

Why is the SmartConnect always vibrating the phone hysterically whenever I place my phone in the dock? This is a real issue for me as it wakes my wife up whenever I come home late from work and place my phone in the dock for the night. The smartconnect application is really useful, but this issue prevents me from using it right now. Please make this vibration an option in the settings somewhere.

It is now possible to disable vibrate when placing your Sony Xperia Z in the Dock through the SmartConnect settings:

(Using Android v4.2.2 JellyBean)

1. Open Smart Connect (from Apps pages)

2. Click the menu icon (top right, 3 vertical dots)

3. Click Settings

4. Unchecl the option labelled "Vibration" which is described as "Vibrate when an event starts and ends"

I hope that helps others.

When a event is triggered SmartConnect will give a vibration to notify you about this. It's currently not possible to disable this in SmartConnect but i'll forward the feedback.

Could I add my vote to this feature request? - I've just got the dock and it's great, but the SmartConnect vibration is really loud when the dock is on a hard surface such as a nightstand.  It's a handy feature when connecting a wireless headset so the ability to disable the vibration for particular events would be ideal.

Great news, I can now go back (tried the "Locale" app for a while) and use SmartConnect again!
