Help Me. I decided to repair my phone using the software update but it seems that my phone cannot be open any more. I don't know what has happened and I'm afraid that it's not going to be alright. please somebody help me with this

If you have a Xperia Z you can try to press and hold the power button and the volume up until the phone vibrates.

If you have Xperia ZL you can remove the back cover and press and hold the "off" button with the tip of a pen or something similar.

If the phone still not starts/open you can try to repair the phone software using the program PC Companion:

In PC Companion, click start under Support Zone > start under Update phone software > select Repair phone (in blue text) > Do all this without having the phone connected to the PC.

Then follow the instructions given to you in the program.

alexander, how come you can reply to this message but not any of the messages that directly address the lack of 4.2 (all major delays to all previous) UK updates for the Z?

Thank you mr alexander. i followed what you have said. actually i start to repair my phone (using pc companion) to see if i repaired my phone, will it functioned normally. it does at first when there is nothing in my phone but when i start to transfer few photos, it start to become lagging many times. really mr alexander. i hope sony will fix this as fast as they can. Im really glad if they made to fix this by this week
