Could somebody from Sony please explain why thousands of us are now 3 updates behind now regarding firmware updates?

We are still on 434!

How do we get Sonys attention on this?

Could it be that 'Generic UK' phones are also being sold in Ireland? Since 'Generic IE' doesn't exist. 'O2 IE' is still on 10.1.A.1.434 too, so perhaps they asked Sony to wait with the 'Generic UK' update? Just a theory, though.

More likely they hold it back so the impatient ones flash the update thus voiding the warranty! Very clever.

Why would they only do that to the UK then? Flashing official stock firmware (without unlocking your bootloader) doesn't void your warranty by the way.

Never thought a stupid update cycle could leave such a bad taste but by god they are giving it a good go. Glad the discussions are still pretty widesread though, if nothing else I hope its annoying somebody at sony
