Sony album and music app not finding files on device,

As new the Sony Z5 Music App found all music on my SD card 

I've now downloaded more through the amazon music app but they do not show up in the sony music app. Any ideas how I get the new music to show up in the Sony Music app?

Never had this issue with my Xperia Z

Open the file commander and look for the downloaded files and see if you can open them

Strange, perhaps there is a nomedia file on your card. Can you check if the same occurs for internal? There might also be an app acting up.

Hi

I tired a few things and figured out the problem - it's the Amazon app

1. I opened file commander and could see the files but they are stored in a different folder /Android/data/com.amazon.mp3/files/Music. I copied the files to the media folder /Android/media/ and then teh files get picked up and thus that works.

2. /Android/data/ has a .nomedia file which I deleted but the file is restored back automatically

Technically the Amazon App should be storing the files in /Android/media but it isn't
