No notifications on lock screen or status bar

G'day,

Not sure what I've done, but I get notifications sounds, but nothing on the status bar or lock screen. I've turned several apps off, notifications, but I still want SMS, play store and event notifications, but they're not coming up.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the community,

I have seen this before, it was related to a third party app, and in my case I found it was Facebook supplying the notifications. I suggest maybe trying with that app first, uninstalling the updates to it and then re downloading them and see if the issue continues.

You can also boot on safe mode and see if it works fine.

If the issue was not present in Safe Mode, that indicates a third party app is causing the issue. In this case exit
Safe Mode and then un-install any third party apps you don't need and clear the cache/data for the apps you want to keep. If this doesn't help or you have found that the issue was still present in Safe Mode - you will need to run a software repair on the handset.

Ended up doing the safe mode thing, but I think in the end it was just restarting the phone that solved the problem.  Thanks for the help.
