basically what the title says...my message centre number is correct,settings are spot on, i just dont know why i dont receive sms's.......also,if i reboot my phone i can receive sms's for a few minutes before i just cant receive them anymore and then i have to reboot again to get the 'opportunity' to receive another sms, i say opportunity because the time period is short.

does anybody know why this happens? i thought it could be an app that prevents me from receiving sms's but i have no such app........i have a rooted z ultra on kitkat 4.4.4.......118. HELP!!

I suspected that you were aware of it but in case something doesn't work as expected it's of course something i recommend

In case you decide to give Lollipop another try we are currently rolling Android 5.1 for Z Ultra. With the new version you should also be able to change the icon size. This update has not reached your country/operator yet though.

Thankyou Rickard...you know why...and kudos to you for that.

i will have a look at the new lollipop when it gets to my shores...but its gonna take alot to get people off kitkat.

I have similar problem. I've a C4 and for a few days I can't get any sms from banks or operators. But I can get some ad mesagges. I tried safe mode but didn't work. Also #*#*4636*#*# does nothing on my device. Also ther isn't a new app that I download recently. I'm really desperate, please help
