My Xperia Z3 Dual only has a constant red led when plugged in, cant turn it On

Hi,

When I woke up in the morning today,  I noticed that my Xperia Z3 Dual only shows the led in red (constant, not blinking) when I plug in to charge. I cant power on pressing the Power button, cant even restart using Power + Volume buttons. I also tried the recovery procedure from PC Companion, power off then Volume and power on, connect to PC and autodetect... nothing works.

I have the phone since march 2015, only 3 months; all was perfect before this big issue: no software problems, battery duration was excellent (at least 1 full day), camera ok, both sim's detected and configured without issues, also no problems when wet my phonet.

Can you help me pls?

When you press and hold volume up and power do you feel any vibrations? if you do and have 3 then plug it in and leave it for a few hours then test it

There must be some sort of life... When you plug it in, is there any screen brightness like Sony logo or just lights up or nothing at all? If your plug it and only red led lights up try pressing the yellow button next to the sim tray when its plugged in to a charger are there 3 vibrates? If no your device can be damaged inside and you should contact sony.actually you should contact Sony even if you feel vibrations because the computer doesn't autp detect the device you cant do a system repair and there is nothing else you can do.

Hi, there is no logo from Sony or Android. Only red led when plugged, the device doesnt do anything else.

Do you think is hardware damage?

That could be a hardware issue, contact your local Xperia Care ASAP

I think this is a hardware damage. Did you drop your device or has it been in contact with water?  Any type of external damage to your phone may have something to do with the waterproofing.

Hi guys,

I sent my smartphone to Sony Warranty... was a hardware damage on the device. Sony sent to me a new phone, so thats pretty nice compensating the long waiting time to have a flagship phone in my hands again.

Hi,

The battery of my phone doesn't reach the 100%, the maximum it reach is 96%, sometimes 95%. Thats from day 1 of my purchase.

I have to say that after maybe a couple of hours without usage and blocked, the battery stays in 95-96%.

Do you think it's a factory issue that doesn't show the battery completely accurate or maybe I can do something to "recalibrate" the battery indicator?
