My main problem is after the update, the alarm clock stops working after the second attempt. White window shows up "not responding" and you can hit wait, ok or report. Since I am using the phone alarm to get up to work its a huge problem for me.

The 9gag app is also having this problem if I want to see a gif. Hope it helps with the problem solving.

The system wipe helped, now everything is working as intented. No app gets frozen or acting weird.

The problem was possibly that the mobile update was partially updated the 5.0 OS. I noticed that at the bottom left was still only chrome icone while after the 5.1.1, there is a google group directory. Hope the info helps others.

Hi,

Regarding the alarm, could you go to Settings > Apps > Swipe to the tab "All" > Clock > Clear data and see if same behaviour appear?

I'm also using 9GAG and have no issues with it. I suggest that you uninstall it and then install it again via Google Play. You can uninstall it via Settings > Apps > 9GAG > Uninstall.

Thank you for the fast reply.

I did what you said but the problem still exist. The 'not responding 'window shows up at the first replay session of the ring tone. (when it's starts over in a five min auto mute)

The 9 gag app freezer 2-5 sec after I hit the gif button.

Sounds strange. Is the alarm sound a preinstalled tone or are you using your own ringtone from the SD-card etc? I suggest that you try the alarm while the phone is booted into safe mode:

Regarding 9GAG, it's hard for me to say what the cause can be. But when I check the reviews via Google Play, I can see that more people experience issues with gifs. Perhaps you can send an email to them and they can look closer into it:

The problem still exists, sadly the safe mode did not helped either.(using the xperia alarm sound)

And I noticed abnormalities in other apps too. Like Waze.

Now I try to install the Lollipop 5.1.1. again with PC companion.
