Internet Connectivity Issue - Possibly caused by Low battery Mode

I have recently had issues with my data connectivity on the Sony Xperia Z and am now unable to connect to the internet in which I previously could.

I believe this issue occurred when the following happened. My phone had both Stamina mode and Low battery mode enabled. When when phone reached 30% and the Low battery mode kicked in, it was when I was accessing the net. As I lost connectivity, I got the Mobile data is disabled notification. I pulled down the Android notification menu and clicked the mobile data icon next to the setting icon to re-enable my internet, however this is where I believe the issue occurred as low battery mode was still on and the internet didn't go back on. I then tried disabling low battery mode however the internet connection hasn't come back.

I've also tried turning mobile data on and off various times as well as turning flight mode on and off as well as turning my handset on and off and nothing is bringing the internet connectivity back. This was done after my phone was fully charged at 100% again.

My phone is Model number C6603, Android version 4.1.2, Build number 10.1.A.1.434, Baseband version 9x15A-ACEFWMAZQ-30110017-11, Kernel version 3.4.0-g298631f-02021-gc1b7814 BuildUser@BuildHost) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 20 13:01:49 2013

Could anyone advise how I can fix this issue or provide possible suggestions to fix this. I have confirmed with the carrier that my APN settings are correct and haven't made any changes to them from when it was working to when it wasn't.

The issue ended up being a APN settings issue. While I tried the settings downloaded through the phone, these settings only seemed to connect to the internet in certain areas.

Have now put in the settings from https://community.virginmobile.com.au/t5/Phones-knowledge-base/What-are-the-generic-APN-settings-for... and so far so good.

Have you tried reinstalling the internet settings automatically through the phone itself? This would be done via menu > settings > Xperia > Internet settings. It would then look to reinstall the settings on the phone again.
