Hi, I recently bought my Xperia Z and it has had major issues with charging. After I bought the phone I started it up to check it worked and installed updates, then turned it off and left it on charge for 8 hours. When I came back the charge had only increased 40% ish. The phone only charges about 4-5% every hour when using the wall charger and even less from a USB cable. Under heavy usage when charging, the charge even goes down! I know that the battery takes a while to get worn in but it should be quite this bad. What can I do to fix this problem?
also the battery drains at a normal rate when not charging

Ok, there does not appear to be anything causing abnormal drain on the battery so I would have to put it down to the cable or charger. Please return these items so that we may have them assessed by an authorised repair agent.

Thank you, I think this is the problem as I borrowed a friend's Blackberry charger and it worked fine :smileyhappy:.
