Hello,

My phone stay on a "blank screen" after the sony picture on boot.

I love to repair it with PC Companion but I can't switch it off !

POWER + UP VOLUME just give me a restart (and return to the blank screen). I just want to switch my phone off, but I can't !
Can anyone help me please.

Maybe, I find a solution, I push POWER and UP VOLUME for ~ 10 seconds after the 3 vibrations of this "power + up volume reset"

I will try tomorrow to repair my phone because it is very slow to charge.

Edit: You have to unplug the charger to switch your phone off. Because when you charge your phone, it automatically switch on.
PS: I succeed to repair it with PC Companion.

What if you remove both the SIM and SD card and try again?

My Sony Xperia ZL was working fine from the past 15 months, when suddenly while using some apps, it automatically turned off (not switched off, just off with black screen). Now, even with 100% battery, phone is not working. Everytime I switch on the phone, the sony logo come up, but it switches off again within seconds without even reaching the home screen. However, the phone is working fine when it is connected to the charger continuously. I'm not sure whether it's a battery problem or something in the circuit board. I ' ve done the factory reset also, but the problem still remains. Contacted the sony service centre India, they said that this model is not repairable, that means I've to get an replacement phone which would cost me around Rs. 20000 which is more than half of the cost of the MRP of the brand new phone. I've read many post from many Sony Xperia ZL users all over the globe having similar problems. If someone found any solution , please help. AND I'M NEVER GOING BUY ANY SONY DEVICE EVER AGAIN. CHEATS!
