Sorry the answer is no as Xperia devices don't have as standard a recovery menu - However some Xperia devices can be rooted and have installed a custom recovery but this is firmware and device dependant so the Dalvik cache which is what you are on talking about is not possible unless you modify but to be honest clearing the dalvik cache isn't that big of a deal - Using an app like 1Tap Cleaner is more than enough unless you are installing custom Roms etc but then you would need to be rooted or have an unlocked bootloader

LE: I didn't pay enough attention at the topic title, XDA was the best place to ask about this. I thought we were talking about normal cache.
What a load of rubbish that video is - I've seen some stupid videos in my time but that's a waste of bandwidth, So there are two types of cache - Your normal cache which can be cleared after a reboot or you can use a cache cleaning app then we have Dalvik cache but for that you need to be rooted and if you are then you can use something like Lucky patcher to clean
