Hi, I have a Z3 Dual. I had it with the 5.0.2 USA rom, and then after trying all of the 5.1.1 roms, I settled for the Rusia version.
But, on 5.0.2 and 5.1.1 (Brazil and USA roms) the phone showed LTE, now in the Rusia rom, it shows 4G, is this just an icon or am I getting a different connection?
Why the change between regions/roms on the same phone?
And my question: CAN I CHANGE THAT? Is there a setting in build.prop or somewhere I can edit to make it show LTE? I must clarify that I did see LTE on this phone, in the same newtork on the same day I switched roms and started to see 4G where I saw LTE before.
But I like LTE better.... so, can I change it or is it hardcoded in the firmware?

Well you'd be surprised how many on XDA are experts but aren't, just because they can run a bat file doesn't make them all knowing so if me trying to help is not needed or we aren't worthy of passing on help then why ask here for help
Well, first, I never said I was an expert, just that I knew enough to get root, recovery and a working xposed on the 5.1.1 rom.
Knowing that means that I know I have to reboot just to get xposed working every time I install a module and, on most modules, every time I make a change and want to be sure it sticked.
Second, asking also on XDA doesn't mean I don't appreciate what you did, which was helping by offering a possible solution, and I never said I didn't appreciate that, I even said, THANKS.
Third, why the rude reply? I was never rude, I even started my reply by saying "don't take this wrong" (which is what you did....btw)-
So, again, thanks for trying to help, but your idea didn't work, I had already tried it.
I'm still open to suggestions since I don't like the 4G icon but if I can't find it here, I will also look elswhere, and If I do find a solution, be sure I will post it for everyone interested.
Oh, I was the one that started the thread, so, if I asked for help here, is because I want to read your replyes, and that makes you worth my time, so......
