Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear this. I recommend that you force restart your device. To do so press and hold the volume up and on/off key on your device simultaneously for at least 10 seconds. Then try starting your device as normal. If the device still doesn't power on, I would recommend that you try charging your device for a minimum of 30 minutes.

If you are still experiencing the same behavior, try to temporarily remove any SD and SIM card from the device to see if they may be causing this behavior.

Tyres all 3 of these ideas.

When I turn the phone in I get the Sony logo coming up , then the xperia logo, then it turns off and goes through the same procedure over and over again.

Sounds like it could do with a software repair using Xperia Companion

Unfortunately this will wipe any data not stored on sd card.

If you are still experiencing the same behavior, I recommend as @Viridis suggested that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.

Im having the same problem and this is after doing a software repair only 3 weeks ago

I'm sorry to hear this. If you tried the troubleshooting suggested in this thread and you still can't power it on, I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair.
