Xperia xz premium touch screen !!

Hello guys 

My xperia xz premium touch screen sometimes does not responding to the touch input and sometimes it does i never harmed the phone i tested the phone touchscreen and the test succeeded

The problem start to show after the last software update

Please help!!

Though its not 100%, I found that if you go to Settings -> Storage and Memory -> turn off Smart cleaner, it will help a lot to the extent that you no longer be annoyed.

@Anasarah I think your problem is mostly "lag" related hence a "software issue". Can you please try restart your phone in safe mode and trying again? Does it lag?

If it does not, you have an application that is provoking such lag in your device. You could trying uninstalling selectively all apps or performing a software repair using Xperia Companion (which means all your applications will be removed) and then installing back selectively all your apps until you find the culpript.

Also if you think that the issue is related to a software update, be assured that it's not the case but that is likely an app that is misbehaving perhaps because not compatible with the lastest software updates.

I have tried The safe mode and the soft repair but nothing worked and still the same problem

Any other solutions??

@Anasarah so one last test. Turn off your device, remove SD card and SIM card. Turn on the phone, check if the phone lags.. if it does not, turn it off again. Add the SIM card. Does the phone lag? If yes, you found the problem. If not, turn it off. Add also the SD card. Does the phone lags? If yes you found the problem otherwise you can start thinking it's an hardware issue and so you will have to contact Local support to have your phone inspected.

Are you using stock live wallpaper? Can you yry changing to a static one?

No I'm using a normal wallpaper

Ok i will try this but and I'm sure it's not a hardware issue cuz the touch screen test succeeded but also with lagging

I have done it i removed the sim but still facing the same problem nothing have changed

Take note that the phone sometimes works fine without any problems for a while but the problem keeps coming after that
