As this is a Global user based forum and warranty terms may differ between markets, I would recommend that you get in touch with your Local support team as they are the experts on your market and will be able to provide you with a much more detailed answer than I can.

You can also get in touch with the retailer where you bought the device and see if they can give you a copy of the receipt.

Sony does not have international warranty so of you buy a phone that is not available in your area or country you should  be praying nothing wrong happens to your phone. Regrettably that Sony works like This. For example you cannot have latest flagship phone or have it years later when the phone is 2 to 3 years on the market. I'm currently having a problem with my XZ in Argentina and I have no Sony support here so I have to solve my problem with unauthorized service with my device still in warranty.

 I can only answer for the Nordic region as this is where I'm located and here you can only have a device repaired in warranty if the specific device was launched in our market, for example very few Dual devices were previously launched here and the device had to be purchased in Europe or ESS.

"If you have purchased your Product in a country member of the European Economic Area (EEA) or in Switzerland or the Republic of Turkey, and such Product was intended for sale in the EEA or in Switzerland or in Turkey, you can have your Product serviced in any EEA country or in Switzerland or in Turkey, under the warranty conditions prevailing in the country in which you require servicing, provided that an identical Product is sold in such country by an authorised Sony distributor".

As far as I know this is because spare parts for devices not launched in some markets are not available at the authorized service centres, however the Local support team in Argentina may be able to provide you with more detailed information regarding this specific market.
