Feedback on Sony Xperia XZs

Wish to submit the following feedback

1. Please tell me how to mute the phone? Even though I turned off the vibration notification, why is the phone still vibrating on incoming alerts, phone rings etc ?

2. On the quick short cut drop down

On the quick short cut drop down menu. There is no short cut option to mute/unmute the phone.. ( This is very basic and useful but am surprised that this is unavailable.

3. Understand that there are options to perform a screen capture via the power button.
Can Sony enhance it to have a quick 1 touch short cut option for screen capture.

4. Another suggestion is possible to implement the assistance touch like what iphone and Samsung has for more short cut option

Thanks

@rolexangel

1 Settings > notifications > select the app > disable the notification

2 press the volume key > tap on the bell icon

3 there used to be a small app shortcut before but Google requested such apps to be removed, you might be able to download an app to do that

4 elaborate on this because there is OK Google

1. Please tell me how to mute the phone? Even though I turned off the vibration notification, why is the phone still vibrating on incoming alerts, phone rings etc ?

Sony Ans  > 1 Settings > notifications > select the app > disable the notification

==>> Already done that and it still happen. So means this is confirm a bug right ??

2. On the quick short cut drop down menu. There is no short cut option to mute/unmute the phone.. ( This is very basic and useful but am surprised that this is unavailable.

Sony Ans > 2 press the volume key > tap on the bell icon

==>> Ya I have already done that but, it only turned the phone to vibration mode instead.

I am asking how to mute the phone when it rings and don't want the phone to vibrate?

In addition, I am referring to A short cut option in the list of the short cut where by you can just easily mute and unmute the phone without going through the steps you mentioned above.

3. Understand that there are options to perform a screen capture via the power button.
Can Sony enhance it to have a quick 1 touch short cut option for screen capture.

Sony Ans > 3 there used to be a small app shortcut before but Google requested such apps to be removed, you might be able to download an app to do that

==>> Can you advise the actual app ??

4. Another suggestion is possible to implement the assistance touch like what iphone and Samsung has for more short cut option

Sony Answer == > 4 elaborate on this because there is OK Google

==>> Please see sample from apple

5. Similar to 2, On the short cut drop down menu. There is no quick short cut option to screen lock other than pressing the power button to lock mute/unmute the phone.. ( This is very basic and useful but am surprised that this is unavailable too. )

6.  Similar to 2, On the short cut drop down menu. There is no quick short cut option to for volume control.. ( This is very basic and useful but am surprised that this is unavailable too. )

NOTE : For 2, 5, 6  Since we are talking about a smart phone and most functions should be achieved via the touch screen. Thus, I am referring to asking Sony to possibly enhance the OS to include these short cut options as they are really useful for daily use. I am aware you can achieve it through the alternative hard ware method

7. Just discovered another user friendly issue to feedback for enhancement. For sms, there is no option to multiple select messages to delete but only options to delete 1 by 1 or Delete the entire conversations. Hope you can get this feedback to the technical team for next software version release enhancement as well.

"Sony Xperia Support team

As well known already there are some official support representatives on the forum Identified with the tag in blue, Sony Xperia Support and with the blue Sony Xperia Avatar."

this text tells me that this board could be the right place,to talk to an official Sony supporter..... Or at least maybe my points are read from one of those.
