Whenever I try to use my new Sony headphones (WH-1000XM3) I have to go into the TVs settings and search for them, is this normal?
With other headphones all I have to do is switch them on and the TV asks if I want to use them.

Thanks for the reply. If I connect (pair) with a new device do I have to connect (pair) again with the other device?
I pair with my television and the headphones work, I then pair with my phone and they work. If I then go back to the television the headphones will not work unless I pair again. Is this correct?

The headphones should automatically connect to the last paired device if it's available. do they do the same thing with your phone for example?
