WH-1000XM3 battery drain
I've had the WH-1000XM3s for a little over a year and half. They've served me really well and the battery has always lived up to the advertised 30 hours - until recently. Up until a week or two ago, I could use my headphones for multiple hours in the day at work, as well as at night, and only need to charge them every 5 days or so. Since the beginning of the year the battery is draining much more quickly than usual. Now the battery will drop 30% after around 4 hours of use, and now I need to charge them every 2 or 3 days. This is all while having adaptive sound control off, and having the auto-off set to 5 minutes.
I understand that battery life will always deteriorate over time but the sudden drop I've experienced has me concerned. As far as I can remember I haven't update the software recently so I can't pinpoint it to that. Has anyone else had similar issues or recommendations to resolve this?

Check out the expected battery life for the different settings.
Also, I'd recommend having the battery re-calibrated (charging to 100% then using till 0% a couple of times).
Hope this helps!

I don’t know if anyone has an explanation for this. Mine are now 2 years old and battery life is down to 25 minutes for the left and 30 minutes for the right. They are almost not fit for purpose now.
