WXGA (X Black) Colour & Gamma Calibration

I am a professional photographer working with digital files. The colour and gamma on my VGN-115Z screen is too red and washed out. I can't even apply adobe gamme to the screen, nor can I calibrate it. Looks like a limitation.
Any advice welcome.

Tried all advice from previous threads, still no joy

Have you tried it with a good calibration wizard?
Because I will test it with one and still downloading one.
I will post if it works or not.

Thank you. Sony support have said this is a limitation of the X Black screen when compared to other TFT screens.

Isee
You're best buying a quality CRT monitor with true colour display.

Thank you I have read the pdf, unfortunately the diagrams were missing, can I download the original from someplace?
Seems Ive done all I can as I have visualy adjusted the sceen, but I work as all photographers do in the Adobe RGB98 colour space and not in sRGB. I will keep searching.

Thanks again, I have a large Flat screen Sony Trinatron Pro VCG monitor for my base, ther is no problem with this. The laptop was to enable me to work on files on location away from my base.
All appreciated, will have to go off line now and log at around 4pm. later.....
