Unless someone here has actually tried it on your model it will be a matter of backing everything up and giving Windows 10 a shot!
What OS are you running at the moment? I guess your Vaio came with 32-bit Vista installed - have you already updated this?
Have you increased the RAM to 4GB?
Checking if all the hardware is compatible may be a problem. I have tried to check it the T3400 processor will work but the results are mixed. Fortunately 32 and 64-bit driver support is still available for download on the Sony Support website here:
