Does the Vaio VPCF21Z1E support SATA 2 or SATA 3.

I ask this question because I am looking for a SSD harddrive.

Your Vaio uses  the Intel HM65 Chipset which supports 2 X SATA 3 ports at up to 6 GB/s.

However, the SATA standard incorporates full backward compatibility, so a SATA 3 drive will work perfectly well in a SATA 2 or even a SATA 1 environment - transfer rates will just be correspondingly slower.
