VGN-CS31Z/Q white line flashing on screen

hi,

I got my VAIO 14 mths ago.

I have noticed a thin white line flashing at about 3 seconds interval at the very bottom of the screen. It has done so for the last couple of weeks, starts about a minute after the screen is on. It doesn't seem to interfere with anything, but drives me crazy after a while. Any ideas what it could be and can it be fixed ? Many thanks.
