Hey gang,
I'm running on Win 10 Home x64. This is a hand me down laptop so I do not have any of the original CDs if any were available.
I'm constantly getting booting issues with nviddmkm.sys so I would like to reinstall the video driver, but the NVIDIA site refers me to the Sony site. Where can I access this? In fact, where can I access all of the drivers for this model in case I have to totally reinstall Windows? Is there some sort of recovery CD I can download?
Any help would be appreciated.
Yea, that is one of the areas I looked at, but I cannot see anything to do with video drivers and Win 10. The latest listed graphics driver appears to be for WIn 8.1, but I don't know if that will work for me.
If I want to do a complete clean reinstall of Windows what do I need to use for all the necessary Vaio tools and drivers? Is it the Care or Care Recovery (I'm presuming these are the same thing, but just different Windows versions) and again since there is not Win 10 version would the Win 8.1 suffice or am I going to continue to have issues.
This all started because of the latest Win 10 update.
I believe there are no drivers for Windows 10 according to this article. So I'd say go ahead with the Windows 8.1 drivers since that's the most recent you can get, and then use the built-in Windows Update feature for the rest.
