Hi everyone, can anyone help! l have a sony VAIO VGC V2S with 512 memory as standard upgradeable to 1024 as this machine only has two card slots. l have been told that you can upgrade this machine to a maximum of 2048 in other words 1024 of memory card in each slot. Has anyone been able to run this machine with more than 1024 of memory if so was it O.K Many Thanks!
how old is it?
Hi audidudie,
Welcome to Club Vaio,
Sony spec's for your V2S still states 1024MB but Crucial state that the V2 Series supports RAM upto 2048MB, also Crucial state find the right memory for your computer or motherboard. GUARANTEED! or your money back
Thalamus showing me up:smileyblush: always goes beyond the call of duty:smileytongue:
beyond the call of duty; that should be a film.:smileycool:
thanks for replying, my machine is 2005
then it should take 2048; big investment though; ie the difference between another 512, and 1536 pricewise. anyway, gd luck
did you manage to install 2x1024 ram on your desktop?
thanks
