Question on: Video-Output

Hello,

I've got a question concerning my Sony Vaio PCG-GRT816S.

I want to record a game (Quake 3 Arena) while playing it.
I thought somehow it should be possible to connect a MiniDV Camera or another Video-device to the Notebook and so record everything that happens on the screen.

Is this possible?
Or is there another way to record the game whilst playing it in "real-time"?

Please help me, its very important!

Thanks, cheers,
Margit

Try FRAPS

or you could connect your video camera to the AV output (You'll probably have to set the AV output as the primary display and disable the other display though)

Hi, the best way to do this, is using the TV-OUT port on your computer, connected to a VCR or to another computer with video-in, if it doesn't have a TV-OUT, you can buy a VGA to Video converter, to do this, I've seen one from Avermedia.
