I am very happy with my brand new Vaio (vpcf13c).
Except that is currently impossible to connect a
interface type audio external sound card. I tried the last
Motu Audio Express, and an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R.
Whether fire wire, or USB, it works a few seconds and then
it cuts, or it does not recognize the card itself, when it runs stand alone.
I have read and understood by here and there, the Ricoh chipset installed
Vaio created in this kind of problem. I also read that with a chipset
Texas Instrument Expresscard format, there was opportunity to address the problem.
Are there perhaps other brands of external audio interfaces compatible with
Ricoh chipset and the Vaio?
If someone has, if only a vague idea about this delicate subject, it will help me greatly. Thank you.
