I totally agree with this p[etition. I spend a lot of hours and even contacts to Sony support directly to get around downgrading to WinXP SP2. For numerous reasons. Consumers and user are better served if Sony would make the set the WinXP available for all hardware. Especially the less skilled user (customers!) would benefit from this. It still is quite a hassle to find the proper drivers and the correct order to install them.

I find the Sony Notebook(s) impressive and it a great piece of multimedia hardware, but if Sony (and Microsoft) really values their customers they should serve them and not force them in something they do not really want. I wanted the AR21S (WME2005 - EOS) but eventually got the AR31S .......

Hi, I have a Sony Vaio VGN-N21S/W.
I wrote to Sony and they told me they have drivers for Win Vista only.
They told me that IF they release new drivers for XP they will publish them.
I tried to install drivers for the VGN-N11S/W.
Randomly I have a wonderful blue screen
Sony says it's normal since drivers are not for my hardware.
I had a look everywhere, but I couldn't found the right drivers.
Even if I have my "Device Manager" perfectly filled (no question marks or similar), the system is instable (Sony says it could be NIC).
BTW the Blue Screen says "Memory Parity Error"
