Just a little info for you vaio freaks out there...
After doing a bit research I found out, that Pinnacle came out with a new product called Pinnacle PCTV USB2, which is an external box, you can attach to your cable TV and then connect it to your laptop through an USB 2 port.
I was a bit reluctant buying it, since I haven't had that good an experience with Pinnacle products before. And I have already a webcam, an external harddrive, my Sony Ericsson P910i phone attached to my laptop, I thought that it might overload my system too much.
But I bought it for 99 euros in Fnac, and it really works great. Now I can watch TV while I work. It comes with a remote control, and you can also attach it to your VCR.
Does anyone else use their laptop to watch TV on?
WOW Fnac made it to Denmark? They're going to take over Europe soon!
Yeah Pinacle are good, they make good video programs and hardware. Watching TV on a laptop is quite a cool idea, specially with those beautiful X-Black screens Sony now do.
Nah - I am in sunny Lisbon, Portugal right now, where I spend most of my days since I hate the cold, rainy winter back in Denmark.
Ah right, yeah they did make it to Portugal....
Aye, I bought around Christmas an AverMedia AverTV Cardbus gizmo, goes into a PCMCI slot and can watch TV, make screenshots or record video to the HD. Cool!
