Mini VAIO (file transfer program)refuses to transfer-convert all kinds of files!!
I¿m working with my VAIO VGN-A297xp(win XP pro sp2),
tried to uninstall all programs and devises installed prior to problem start point, and also tried to recover the system rolling back to previous date.
Later I reinstall the VGF-AP1L software (SonicStage2.1+inclouded updates) in Vain.

Please help !
Ps .I also (Hard )reset the player and formatted the disk too .

How about converting to WAV before ATRAC?

No file transfers!(wav¿s too)

Already removed and re-installed SS(if you mean SonicStage) 
What is BTW?

The SonicStage software is used to manage, transfer and make playlists.

Have you installed the OpenMG addon from the CD?

Hallo i just have had the same problem, I changed the mp3 in a wave format with an other programm, then i made an atrac out of this one. This works!

Finally I decided to restore my laptop to its factory settings (full recovery).
Since the installation disk of the mini VAIO was left in my office we have to wait till afternoon to see if I succeeded.
