Hi,
i've got a vgn-nr38e laptop. got it off a friend to fix up. last thing i had to do was fix the power jack but it works if theres weight on it. up until now it hasnt been recognising the battery at all then tonight the charger came loose from the jack and its keeping charge and now its showing up saying "unkown remaining." i dont know if this is because it running on windows 7 and its factory os should be vista home premium? it came to me in a sorry state so i could only do so much to it and im not gonna pay out for the good awful os system that is vista.
any help would be great!
